Paul and Judy Tokmakian took the reins of the inn on February 28, 2020, and have kept its tradition of unhurried Vermont hospitality ever since.
The inn sits a few blocks past the park from downtown Brattleboro, within walking distance of restaurants, galleries, and theaters, and on the water for paddling days. A few local favorites:
Dozens of independent shops, galleries, bookstores, and sporting goods stores, plus 30+ restaurants and pubs, all an easy stroll from the inn.

The first Friday of every month brings Gallery Walk, an evening of open houses and art. Catch live theater at NEYT or Hooker-Dunham, or a film in the restored Art Deco Latchis Theatre.
First Friday each month
The inn sits on the water, in easy reach of kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and tubing, with a rental shop just down the street. In autumn, the inn's own blog recommends the Molly Stark Scenic Byway for peak color.
